The American Phoenix sculpture is a legendary creature that is made from reused materials and it eats aluminum cans!
Tom Tsuchiya is best known for his public art including the plaques for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, the sculptures at Great American Ball Park and the statue of Marian Spencer at Smale Riverfront Park.

Music in the Woods is Imago's biggest event and fundraiser. It supports Imago's mission of fostering a deeper harmony with Earth by providing educational experiences, creating opportunities for discussion and community building, and conserving natural areas.

Youth Education
Imago partners with schools, social service agencies and other community members to provide guided time in nature for urban youth. All of our youth education programs are hands-on, exploratory and fun! From camps, to afterschool programs to school day programs - you make it possible to add a daily dose of nature in the lives of the young people that we work with.
Nature Preservation
Imago protects and manages 37 acres of woods and trails as a free and open urban nature preserve. Your support helps us beautfy our forests and trails and helps create special experiences for visitors to our preserve. From a gentle stroll to see trail art, to a hike with your dog into Hackberry Hills - you make this time in nature free and possible for all of our visitors.
Community and Sustainability
We can all work together to be greener and Imago's variety of sustainability programs help make it easier and more fun. Imago's focus is on sustainability that is achievable by all of us, regardless of how "green" we are. We believe sustainability is a journey and we'll support you, regardless of where you started on that path.
